Struggling with Temptations? (By E. G. White)  Read also 1 Corinthians 10:11-13 (NIV)  In these verses we will find God's promise. You see, we are all in this together that, there is no sin that anybody has ever committed that you and I would not be able to commit if we lower our guard down. When we purposefully drive the positive influence of God away, we will quickly sink to depths we never dreamed possible. This is where God's promise comes in. Yes, He allows temptations to come our way so that our characters will be refined and our faith will be strenghtened. However, He promises that while there may yet be temptation at your doorway, He has the escape route all planned out. Our only response should be to grasp hold of His hand through prayer and to not let go. Victory will be surely yours.
